The Creative Centre FabLab TnUAD announces a Call “School Excursion” for the general public – Individuals interested in CCI, in which they can arrange an excursion in the premises of the Creative Centre FabLab TnUAD. The call is announced within the framework of the programme “Supporting the demand for creative production” and service 2 “Professional events aimed at building awareness of CCIs“.
School excursions are provided in accordance with the time, personnel and technological possibilities of KC FabLab TnUAD for pupils and students together with a responsible teacher’s accompaniment.
During our excursion, students will visit our workshops and get acquainted with all the modern technologies available in the FabLab Creative Centre. We have a variety of activities that can be chosen as a bonus to the field trip.
Bonus activity options:
- Ceramics – in this activity each participant will create their own ceramic figure or animal. The product will then be fired in a ceramic kiln at 900°C.
- Virtual Reality + 3D Printing – Participants will have an unforgettable experience with virtual reality goggles and discover a world of new technologies. We will also demonstrate how 3D printing works.
- CNC engraving machine based on CO2 laser – we will present how to carve and engrave products from wooden plywood, each participant will take away one sample
There will also be an outdoor sports area with a multifunctional ball field, table tennis, swings and a workout area.
If you are interested, please fill in the application form, which is attached. The application form is to be filled in by the FO who will accompany the pupils and students on the excursion. Together with the application form, he/she will submit a list of participants. Once completed, please send the application form to recepcia.fablab@tnuni.sk
The price of the school excursion is 4,00 Eur/participant, with a bonus activity 6,00 Eur/participant. Payment will be made on the basis of the sent instructions by the FO, who will accompany the students.
